With most of the upper walls in place, the roof panels have been delivered at Brooklyn, ready to keep up the pace on site. The similar truck has been used as for the first floor panels, with palettes being craned straight up to the first floor to be in place for hand installing by the carpenters and roofers. They are similar sandwich panels to our walls, though in Colorbond steel and are light enough for two people to lift and install. With a bit of help from Mitch (looking pleased with himself), the driver negotiated the tight site for a very successful delivery. Just the last run of parapet and a big crossing gutter to make and the roof will complete the envelope of the house. Next week we’ll show you ….
